How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored in restricted access cloud-based files, and where paper-based records are required, a restricted access filing cabinet.
We keep personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics, demographic information and pseudonymised data for the duration of the research and delete it as soon as it is no longer needed. Where we are required to store data, we keep data for a maximum of six years. We will then dispose your information by securely deleting data from our online files and using a confidential waste facility for all paper-based records.
Your data protection rights
Under data protection law, you have rights including:
(a) Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
(b) Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
